MCAC Baseball Athletes of the Week: Week of April 28 - May 4

Rochester, MN - 

The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its baseball weekly awards for the week of April 28 - May 4.

Max Hudlow, a right-handed pitcher for Century College, has been named this week's MCAC South Division Baseball Pitcher of the Week. Hudlow was 1-0 during the week, starting one game and pitching 6.0 innings of two-hit ball. No runs were given up, and Hudlow struck out 10 batters while walking only one. He had a weekly ERA of 0.00 and 15.00 strikouts/9-innings.  

Century College's first baseman Connor Larsen earned this week's MCAC South Division Baseball Position Player of the Week award. Larsen hit .375 during the week, going 9 for 24 at the plate with two doubles and five home runs. He drove in eight runs and scored seven, leading his team to a sweep of Western Tech and an MCAC South Division championship.

St. Cloud Technical and Community College right-handed pitcher, Griffin Dosan, made one starting appearance and threw a near-perfect game. In seven innings of work, Dosan struck out nine batters without giving up a hit or a run. He walked four to spoil the perfect game but earned the win with the no-hitter. For his outstanding performance, Dosan was named this week's MCAC Central Division Baseball Pitcher of the Week

St. Cloud Technical and Community College's third baseman Terrence Moody earned this week's MCAC Central Division Baseball Position Player of the Week award. Moody hit .643 from the plate, going 9 for 14. He had a double and a home run during the week. Moody also drove in six runs and scored seven, while walking four times.

Darren Loyola, a right-handed pitcher for Minnesota North College - Hibbing, was named this week's MCAC North Division Baseball Pitcher of the Week honoree. Loyola threw six innings in the win, in which he did not give up a run and scattered three hits. He struck out seven batters and walked two in the dominating outing. 

Minnesota North College - Vermilion catcher Martin Cubillan went 9 for 16 from the plate, hitting .563 for the week. Cubillan had a double and two home runs, and he drove in ten runs. He also scored eight runs and walked twice, helping his Ironhawks to three more wins. Cubillan has been named the week's MCAC North Division Baseball Position Player of the Week for his offensive performance.
