Minnesota West Community and Technical College head volleyball coach, Brittney McNab, earned her 100th career win on Friday.
The Lady Jays picked up a win for their coach in the season opener against Northland Community and Technical College. McNab entered her eighth season with Minnesota West with a 99-63 overall record.
Coach McNab has steadily improved her volleyball program throughout the past seven seasons. In 2024, the Lady Jays won the MCAC South Division and went on to finish as the runner-up in the NJCAA DIII National Championship Tournament. McNab's team is currently ranked 3rd in the NJCAA DIII Volleyball rankings.
In the season-opening weekend, the Lady Jays competed in the MCAC Crossover Tournament at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. In addition to their 3-1 win over Northland Community and Technical College to secure McNab's 100th career coaching win, Minnesota West also picked up a 3-1 win over Ridgewater College, a 3-0 win against (RV) Alexandria Technical and Community College, and a 3-0 win over DII Williston State College.
Next weekend, McNab's squad returns to action, competing in the Siouxland Invitational in Sioux City, IA.
