The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) has released its softball weekly awards for the week of March 2-8.
There were no nominations for this week's MCAC North Division Softball Pitcher of the Week award.
Raegan Hansen, shortstop for Minnesota North College - Rainy River, earned this week's MCAC North Division Softball Position Player of the Week honor. Hansen was 3 for 8 at the plate, hitting .375, with one double. She drove in one run and scored one. Hansen also had three putouts and three assists.
Zoey Stephany, a right-handed pitcher for St. Cloud Technical and Community College, earned this week's MCAC South Division Pitcher of the Week award. Stephany went 2-0 during the week, pitching 13.2 innings, and giving up five earned runs and seven total runs. She had 13 strikeouts and gave up 13 hits, while walking six batters.
St. Cloud Technical and Community College second baseman, Keeli Doran, earned this week's MCAC South Division Softball Position Player of the Week award. Doran hit .537 on the week, going 7 for 13 at the plate, and hitting one triple. She drove in five runs and scored two. Doran stole four bases and walked twice.
