The Legends of Alexandria Technical and Community College won the Region 13/North Plains District Final Four Tournament and advanced to the 2026 NJCAA DIII World Series in Johnson City, TN. They will begin their quest for the national championship on Saturday, May 23, at 6:15 PM CT.
Alexandria secured their #4 seed in the World Series after defeating Rochester Community and Technical College 13-12, Century College 12-4, and St. Cloud Technical and Community College 15-11 in the North Plains District Tournament. Jonah DeJong, Alexandria Tech's third baseman, was named the Tournament MVP, and Legends' head coach Brandon Hill was named the region coach of the year.
The Legends will open the double-elimination World Series competition against the #5 seed and the only at-large selection in this year's tournament, Brookdale Community College. Brookdale enters the World Series with a 43-12-1 record.
